Cricket Coaching at Aston Manor

Aston Manor Cricket Club has always placed a great deal of emphasis upon the importance of coaching. This has always applied specifically to developing the young talent within the club but also, as the club now face the challenge of Birmingham League cricket, to improve the standard of its cricket throughout all the teams that represent the club. To this end, the club has devoted considerable resources to improving its coaching staff and facilities.
Club members who currently have Coaching Qualifications are:
Dominic Ashton, Chris Booth, Jon Meacham, Dennis Palmer, Adrian Smith, Jason Furnell, Ian Watson and Peter Evans.
Current Level 2 coaches:
Sushil Toora, Andy Forman, Steve Evans, Keith Forman and Ian Pritchard.
Senior Cricket Coaching
During the summer months senior nets take place every Wednesday from 18:15 onwards at the ground. Practice involves a net session as well as fielding drills.
All players, current and new, are welcome.
Youth Cricket Coaching
Coaching for youth players takes place at net sessions and on Friday evenings throughout the summer at the club's ground.
